Dr. Shafi Ayub is an Urdu scholar, distinguished poet, journalist and educator of Urdu literature and poetry. For over 15 years, he taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Equally adept in poetry, prose, fiction, and other literary genres, he has authored several books and is a regular columnist, with a focus on making Urdu literature accessible and relatable.
Farhat Ehsas is one of the most esteemed Urdu poets of our time, renowned for his unique poetic style and modern themes. He has served as an editor for Qaumi Aawaz and also contributed to All India Radio and BBC Urdu. Currently, he’s the Editor in Chief atwww.rekhta.org
Prof. Khalid Alvi is a prominent name in Urdu academia. After a long career at Zakir Husain College, University of Delhi, he retired as a Professor of Urdu. His expertise spans both classical and modern Urdu literature, with a particular interest in classical, progressive, and modern poetry, as well as the literary and cultural history of Urdu.
Khalil-ur-Rahman is a lawyer by profession, and is regarded as an authority on the language, culture, and literary traditions of Delhi. Growing up in Delhi, he developed unmatched insight into its dialects and cultural heritage. His research and reflections focus on prominent literary figures of Urdu literature.
