    Rizwan Ahmad, a professor of Linguistics at Qatar University, received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, USA. Focusing on the sociolinguistic aspects of Urdu and Arabic for his research, his works have been published in leading journals like Language in Society and Journal of Pragmatics, etc. He has also contributed to Aljazeera, the Print, the Wire etc. along with making digital content on social media.
